I love, love, love ranch dressing for just about everything.
It makes anything taste extra yummy 🙂
I needed to learn how to make a dairy free ranch dressing
because I am currently dealing with sensitivities to dairy.
I have done a lot of experimenting and trial and error  to come up with one that I really like.
That’s how I came up with this recipe. It has won my heart and I know it will yours too.
It is especially  good to dip your  homemade sweet potato chips in!
In fact you can see the recipe here for sweet potato crisps in this blog post . It’s # 20.
Ingredients:
–1 can coconut cream
–1 medium size avocado peeled and diced
–1 garlic clove minced
–a few shallots diced or 2 teaspoons onion powder
–1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
or instead I like to do 1 T. stone ground
brown mustard with apple cider vinegar in it. This is the one I use here.
–1 Tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley.
– 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill.
– 1  teaspoon mineral rich sea salt
–black pepper to taste
*****Optional: 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
or 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
Note: You will need to omit either the dill or parsley above if adding the cilantro.******
*****Optional: 1-2 teaspoons nutritional yeast flakes like this one here.
Instructions:
Put all ingredients in your food processor or blender and blend well for about 1-2 minutes.
Refrigerate and chill for at least one hour before using to really bring out the flavors.
You can enjoy this on salads, as a great veggie dip
and even as your favorite dipping sauce like I do for my gluten free chicken nuggets 😉
