This is an elegant looking dessert that I promise will wow
any gathering with their looks and taste!
These won’t stick around long either. So…. what are you waiting for??!! Let’s start dipping 🙂
Ingredients:
1- quart strawberries
1/2- bag Lily’s dark chocolate chips ( Stevia sweetened)
2-tablespoons extra virgin coconut oil or you can use refined coconut oil which has a neutral taste
Instructions:
Melt your chocolate chips and coconut oil in a double boiler over medium heat . Do not overcook.
Once melted set aside to cool for about 5-10 minutes before dipping.
Meanwhile line a cookie sheet with unbleached parchment paper.
Next, grabbing the strawberry by the hull, gently twirl it in the melted chocolate to coat 3/4 of the berry.
Line up your dipped strawberries onto your cookie sheet.
Once you are done, put into your freezer for about 20-30 minutes until the chocolate is hard.
You could also put these into the refrigerator instead, it would just take a little longer to set up.
Once the chocolate has hardened, put the berries into an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator
until the very last one is gone , which shouldn’t be long 😉
Enjoy!!
